You only ever learn to Scuba dive once so it is important to know that we make our PADI dive courses as comprehensive, safe and fun as possible. To aid students’ in their learning and enjoyment we use the some of the best facilities available in the UK.

Our Scuba Diving Facilities

Heathfield School is one of the UK's leading independent schools and is set in 36 acres of magnificent grounds, and conveniently situated in Ascot. It’s picturesque location and it’s dedicated teaching facilities make it the perfect place to learn your diving theory and pool training.

To learn and practice your dive skills we use the quiet and relaxed pool located adjacent to the main building.  

The modern indoor 25 metre swimming pool has a 2m deep end allowing students to have plenty of room to swim around in, practice their dive skills and fine tune their buoyancy. Students learning to dive start the pool session in the shallow end and as they grow more confident progressively make their way towards the deep end. The pool is constantly heated to a comfortable 30 degrees Celsius and we offer shortie wetsuits to fit most sizes.

Directions

Heathfield School is in a central location close to major motorway networks, rail connections and airports. The school is just five minutes from the M4 (J10) and M3 (J3), and 50 minutes by train from central London. Heathrow Airport is 30 minutes away and Gatwick Airport is just 60 minutes by car.

By Car

From the M4 East, leave at junction 6 and follow the A332 towards Ascot. When you reach Ascot, you will pass the racecourse on your left. Turn right towards Bracknell. Immediately after the first crossroads, enter the filter lane on the right into Heathfield School.

From the M4 West, leave at junction 10 and follow the A329(M) and A329 through Bracknell towards Ascot. Heathfield School is just before the junction with the B3017 on the left-hand side of the road. From the M3, leave at junction 3 and follow the A322 towards Bracknell. After 2 miles, take the right hand lane and follow the road towards Ascot. After another 2 miles, where the road bends right, take a left towards Warfield and follow the road to the traffic lights. Turn left onto London Road and then immediately enter the filter lane on the right into Heathfield School.

By Train

Heathfield School is a 15 minute walk from Martins Heron station. Exit the station through the car park and follow the road signposted to Ascot. Heathfield School is just before the junction with the B3017.

Alternatively, a short taxi ride can be taken from Ascot station.
